  1. There is one undocumented feature/change in 2.80.

Anyone with a USB device (Guitar Hero, Rockband, Buzz, etc) will know that when they are connected, they get assigned as Controller 1, and the standard wireless controllers do not. In my case because I have 3 Guitar Hero Dongles so my Controllers becomes number 4.

Because of this the majority of games (and things like Home, Vidzone, etc) can't be controlled by anything other than Controller 1, this caues a problem.. The solution to this is either to remove the dongles, or go into 'controllers settings' and change your controller to 1 each time you switch on your PS3.. Its not a big deal but this is a pain in the backside.

Well, in 2.80, things have finally changed.. Now the Wirless controller gets assigned as ONE... However, on the flip side, it seems that USB devices get assigned a much higher number than before and this causes a problem in some games (Guitar Heros).. But this is easily fixed by changing the controller number wen you want to play... Since you are more likely to use a Wireless controller than a USB controller, this is a change for the better, and IMHO its a MAJOR improvement..

  2. Problem znany i opisywany na maxconsole.net. Generalnie gitara do RB/GH czy nawet Buzzery musza byc zidentyfikowane jako kontroler 1 w wypadku 2.80. Slowem - wepnij czujke w pierwsze USB i wlacz konsole guzikiem.
